Abstract:
The flight ballistic characteristics of different projectiles and rockets are of great significance for guiding external trajectory design and constructing some ballistic criteria. In this article, the dynamic ballistic environment characteristics and the relationship between the rotation number and flight distance were studied based on the dynamic equations of projectiles and rocket flight with reasonable simplification to analyze the variation of the mass acceleration, rotation angular acceleration, and so on the flight ballistic condition of a spin-stabilized projectile. The variation patterns along the flight ballistic trajectory were analyzed, establishing relevant relationship expressions and criterion. Finally, carrying out simulation calculations for external ballistic trajectory of two types of spin-stabilized projectiles, the correctness of the conclusion was verified. The research results show that the air ballistic characteristics can provide a technical support for future research on new projectiles plans, ammunition information utilization, control flight, safety design and so on.
