Abstract: As an important tool of traffic demand management, traffic congestion pricing can balance the traffic demand by adjusting the traveling cost of private cars. Traffic congestion is helpful to establish a more equitable and efficient urban transport system. With the aim of analyzing the experience on traffic congestion pricing, the time-space analysis combined with comparative analysis are used to research the experience of traffic congestion pricing in London and Singapore. Subsequently, the principles of traffic congestion pricing are concluded and proper policy routes are proposed with urban reality of our country. The results are hoped to give a better understanding of traffic congestion pricing policy and support the decision of traffic demand management.
