Abstract:
The numerical simulation of the bundled Hopkinson pressure bars tests of concrete was studied using the finite element software of Ansys/Ls-dyna in the present paper. The partial parameters of HJC constitutive model of mortar concrete were obtained, and the stress wave signal, the stress-strain curve of the specimen and the process of specimen's damage morphology changes in the simulated impact process were derived. The simulation results were in good agreement with experimental ones. It shows that the obtained parameters of HJC model can be trusted. Distribution of internal stress, strain and the changes of damage morphology of specimen under simulated impact process were also analyzed.
