铝合金柱壳在不同速度下的成形极限实验研究

Experimental Study on Forming Limit of Aluminium Alloy Tubewith Different Strain Rates

  • 摘要: 为了研究铝合金高速成形极限,采用电磁驱动金属圆管膨胀技术对6063T6薄壁铝合金圆管的动态膨胀断裂过程进行了实验研究.实验中圆管膨胀速度可达180~250 m/s,应变率在6 000~8 500 s<sup<-1</sup<范围.讨论了惯性对于不均匀变形的影响.实验结果表明随着应变率的增加,局域化特征间距减小,碎片数量增多.局域化起始名义应变随应变率的增加呈增大趋势,可能表明材料成形极限随应变率的提高而提高.

     

    Abstract: The electromagnetic tube expansion was employed to investigate the forming limit of 6063 aluminum alloy. The electromagnetic tube bulging process loaded by different currents was analyzed. The results show that the characteristic of number of localization bands and fragments number increases with increasing strain rate. The critical strain of localization increases with increasing strain rate so that forming limits of aluminum alloy could be increased by forming at high strain rates. Furthermore, effects of inertia on nonuniform deformation were discussed.
