Abstract:
In view of the carrier leakage problem for small single-antenna radio transceiver, the carrier-leakage suppression techniques were proposed based on mixing magnitude-phase shift with frequency shift cancellation. Carrier leakage and DC frequency was cancellated by the carrier-leakage suppression integration techniques, which was merged together the adaptive closed-loop offset technology and frequency offset cancellation technology. The ADS software experimental results and testing indicate that the output power is -79 dBm and the carrier leakage cancellation is up to 56 with 4.3 GHz transmitting center frequency. The carrier leak on single-antenna transceiver is reduced without obvious distortion in the output wave shape and the DC offset component is eliminated. The receiver sensitivity and detection probability are improved by the carrier-leakage suppression techniques.
