Abstract:
In order to analyze the mutual influences among different stands of tandem cold rolling mill and the influence of each stand on the final product shape, a control efficacy model was built with the influence coefficient method based on the crown and flatness models of continuous cold rolling. Aiming at a 2 180 mm tandem cold rolling mill, combined with its four typical rolling schedules, the shape control efficacies of different stands were studied, and it was found that, for the same rolling schedule, the ability of each stand to affect the product shape varied a lot, and the closer to the last stand, the greater effect on product shape. Among the five stands of tandem cold rolling mill, except for the last stand, i.e, the fifth stand, the fourth stand had the largest effect on the product shape, the maximum value approached to the 10 IU(1 IU=10
-5). The influence coefficient difference of the shape adjustment means of different stands on final product shape between the stands was about 10
-3 order of magnitude. Finally, the shape data were counted and analyzed and the rolling trial was carried out to prove the reliability of the conclusion.
