酸浆果多糖降糖及抗氧化作用的研究

Hypoglycemic and Antioxidant Effect of Polysaccharide from the Fruit of Physalis Alkekengi L. in Diabetic Rats

  • 摘要: 为了研究酸浆果多糖的降糖及抗氧化作用,采用水提醇沉法从酸浆中提取酸浆果多糖,采用苯酚-硫酸比色法测定酸浆果多糖的含量.一次性注射55 mg/kg链脲佐菌素建立糖尿病大鼠模型,测定大鼠血清中血糖水平、SOD活性和MDA含量.酸浆果多糖产率为4.85%,含量为36.5%.酸浆果多糖可显著降低血糖水平,增强SOD活性,降低MDA含量.结果表明,酸浆果多糖具有明显的降糖和抗氧化作用,提示酸浆果多糖可能通过保护机体免受抗氧化损伤,维持机体组织正常功能,从而改善靶器官对胰岛素的敏感性而发挥降糖作用.

     

    Abstract: In the present study, the hypoglycemic and antioxidant effects of polysaccharide extracted from the fruit of physalis alkekengi L. (PPSB) were investigated in streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats. Polysaccharide from the fruit of physalis alkekengi L. were extracted by distilled water and classified by ethanol solution. The blood glucose, superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity and malondialdehyde (MDA) level were evaluated in streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats. The results show that PPSB could significantly reduce the blood glucose level in streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats (p<0.01). Meanwhile, PPSB could significantly increase the activity of SOD in blood,liver and pancreas and decrease the hepatic MDA level (p<0.05). This study suggestes that PPSB has hypoglycemic and antioxidant potentials, and PPSB may exert hypoglycemic effect in streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats partly by enhancing the antioxidative ability and reducing the lipid peroxidation to prevent tissues from peroxidative damage, thereby improving insulin sensitivity to target cells.
