Abstract:
Considering the burstiness of packet data transmission in BAN (body area network) system, a packet detection method based on digital match filter (DMF) and adaptive threshold decision was designed. According to the principle of DMF and the feature of BAN modulation signals, calculation of correlation peak was first analyzed and achieved. Then the adaptive threshold was selected to make a decision of the correlation peak to achieve the arrival time of packets. Finally, simulation analysis was carried out to verity the performance. The results demonstrate that high detection probability can be obtained even with a certain frequency offset.
