Abstract:
To study the influence of shock overload, high speed rotation and dispersing velocity on working performance of conductive fiber cluster, theoretical and experimental study were researched on two typical fiber clusters. The results show that high overload has a great effect on fiber, fiber cluster with protective structure on the shaft has greater anti-overload performance than the unprotected one, which makes it bear various high overloads. Relative rotating criterion between bullet and fiber cluster, as well as damage criterion of fiber under spinning condition were obtained through theoretical analysis, so was damage criterion of fiber on spreading. The results provide references to fiber cluster structure design that adapted to severe ballistic environment.
