Abstract:
To study the limit wall thickness of projectiles oblique impacting reinforced concrete target, 130 mm one-stage light-gas gun system was used as a launching platform to develop the tests of different thickness projectiles oblique impacting reinforced concrete target. Comparatively analyzed the structural response characteristics of different thickness projectiles, it is found that the afterbody was the fragile region of structural strength, more significant plastic deformation occurred under the effect of the reflected unloading wave, and the dimensionless limit wall thickness was obtained under the experimental conditions. The results will provide some reference for the structural design of penetrating projectiles.
