Abstract:
How to enhance resilience constitutes a major issue in the high-quality development of new energy enterprises. Based on a sample of China’s A-share listed new energy enterprises, this study examines the synergy between data and technology elements. Grounded in resource orchestration theory, we construct a theoretical framework to analyze its impact on enterprise resilience and conduct empirical tests on its effects on the resilience of new energy enterprises and the underlying mechanisms. The study found that the synergy between data and technological elements significantly enhances the resilience of new energy enterprises, primarily by improving their dynamic adaptability, diversified supply chain configuration, and green innovation capabilities. Further analysis revealed that the synergistic effects of data and technology are more pronounced when new energy enterprises are state-owned, highly internationalized, or operate in fiercely competitive industries. The paper expands the research scope of enterprise resilience influencing factors from the perspective of element synergy, constructs a logical chain of the collaboration between data and technology elements, and elucidates the underlying mechanisms through which they affect the resilience of new energy enterprises. This provides practical insights for better driving the transformation and upgrading of China’s energy structure.
