Abstract:
In response to the difficulty in controlling the optimal intersection detonation position between the high falling speed fuel air explosive (FAE) secondary fuze and the fuel cloud cluster, as well as the insufficient verification methods for the intersection position, a study on FAE secondary fuze detonation point positioning testing based on ultra wide band (UWB) was carried out. A FAE secondary fuze detonation point positioning testing model based on time difference of arrival (TDOA) was constructed using ranging information between secondary fuze tags and ground base stations, and synchronization among base stations as well as ranging time difference information. And Taylor algorithm for calculation was used to obtain the optimal estimated position; a dynamic positioning optimization algorithm for secondary fuze detonation points based on EKF (extended Kalman filter) was proposed to implement position correction, and simulation comparison analysis was conducted. The results showed that the dynamic performance of the EKF algorithm based on TDOA trilateration positioning was superior to that based on distance, with a positioning error of no more than 0.5 m. High-speed experiments were conducted in the darkroom, the UWB positioning and ranging test environment with 8 base stations and a maximum layout space of 10 m×5.8 m×18 m was set up, and designs in engineering implementation were improved and optimized. The effect of achieving a high dynamic secondary fuze detonation point position calculation error of no more than 0.391 m fully demonstrates the feasibility of the proposed positioning testing method, providing ideas and verification methods for further testing research on FAE secondary fuze detonation point control in the later stage.
