Semi-Active Air Suspension Control Based on Road Recognition

  • For passenger cars equipped with air suspension and continuous damping control dampers, a two-degree-of-freedom semi-active air suspension dynamics model was established to realize the control of air spring height and suspension damping. Aiming at the coupling problem of air spring height and mechanical characteristics of air suspension and the adaptability of suspension controller parameters under multiple working conditions, an LSTM road roughness identification network adapted to variable air spring heights was developed, and an adaptive improved skyhook control algorithm was realized. The experimental results show that the designed active suspension control system has good adaptability and can significantly improve the ride comfort and handling stability of the vehicle under various working conditions.
