Research Progress on Welding Seam Quality Inspection Technology in Rebar Engineering

  • The quality inspection technology for steel component welds is an important means to improve the safety and stability of construction projects. The research progress of non-destructive testing technologies for weld quality inspection were summarized from the aspects of weld defect inspection and 3D dimension inspection, and the advantages and disadvantages were also discussed. The applications of 3D reconstruction technology in weld quality inspection of rebar engineering were emphasized. Prospects of future research direction and focus of weld quality inspection technology were also described.
