Aanlytic Calculation of MOF Interface Reconstruction on 2D Arbitrary Convex Quadrangle Grids

  • The moment of fluid (MoF) method is a kind of piecewise linear interface calculation method developed in recent years. It is widely used in the multi-material arbitrary lagrange-Euler (MMALE) method. In view of the inefficiency of the traditional MoF method in reconstructing interface using iterative algorithm, an analytical solution for interface of convex quadrilateral meshes was put forward in this paper, to replace traditional iteration method used in the traditional method of MoF, and numerical simulation program was made based on Fortran language. Computation results of typical examples show that the proposed new method greatly improves the efficiency of interface refactoring process.
