Risk Analysis and Response Measures of Urban Transportation Demand Management Policies

  • With the aim of alleviating and eliminating the negative effects of transportation demand management (TDM) policies, it is necessary to give a pre-warning of potential risk factors based on the comprehensively analysis of TDM policies. Systematic analysis method are used to study the potential risks caused by TDM policies, including political risk, legal risk, economic risk, social risk, systematic risk and environmental risk. With the risk analysis, response measures for minimizing the risks of TDM are proposed. The response measures can also be used as the basis of risk prevention and control. The results are helpful to implement the TDM policies smoothly with the minimal level of potential risks.
