Analysis of the Factors Affecting Parking Choices during Holiday

The objective of this study is to analyze the relationship of tourists' travel behavior and parking choices during holidays. Based on the data collected in Xiangshan Park during the Qingming Festival in 2013, a structural equation modeling (SEM) was established to analyze the main factors affecting the parking choice behavior using activity analysis. The result shows that the most contributing factors are the arrival time and activity duration. At the same time, if travelers get more parking information and are more familiar with road conditions, they would have more choices of travel routes and modes, which leads to the diversity of parking choices.
