Abstract
To meet the requirements of low-power detection in space, a study on hybridization chips of nucleic acids was conducted. A portable and low-power system based on hybridization chips of nucleic acids for analyzing on chips in space was designed and implemented. Techniques including improved chip structures, optimized reaction conditions and combing PCR system were adopted in the system. Test results indicate that the system is able to realize fast detections towards specific nucleotide sequences in 90 minutes and its power consumption is less than 25 W. Moreover, it provides a high detection sensitivity by coupling with PCR technology in space.
