Numerical Simulation of Circle-Arc Focused Warhead Under Different Initiation Styles

  • In order to produce the focused fragments,the transmission theory of detonation wave and numerical simulation method were utilized to analyze the influence of different initiation styles on fragments emission of circle-arc focused warhead. The results of theoretical calculation and numerical simulations show that the initiation styles heavily influence the fragments emission of circle-arc focused warhead. Different initiation styles generate different incident angles, which will affect the deflection angle and velocity of focused fragments, and finally influence the destroy effect. The results can provide reference for air defense and anti-missile warhead design.
