Study on Numerical Simulation of the Closed Chamber Explosion Effect

  • In order to study the characteristics of closed chamber explosion effect,the finite element method was utilized to discuss the explosion flow field detonating in center of the closed chamber and the dynamic response of the shell structure. A more detailed work was carried on from the establishment of physical modeling, meshing, the solution file and the analysis of the calculation results. The overpressure-time curves of the gauges in the structure were shown in this paper. The research results can provide the theoretical basis for explosion effect research and structural strength design of public places and other large buildings.
