Target Aimpoint Selection Algorithm for GIF with RF Seeker

Abstract
A precise real-time target aimpoint selection algorithm was proposed for detonation control of RF imaging guidance integrated fuzing. According to the statistical model of SAR image, a special Gaussian function with 3 peaks was designed for histogram matching, leading to image enhancement and speckle noise weakening; the target contour was extracted with order-statistic filter, Otsu's method and morphological image processing; a convex polygon was obtained based on convex hull of graphics, whose centroid was the aimpoint. The results of the simulations show that the algorithm is efficient to get the precise aimpoint, which put forward a new method for enhancing the detonation control precision of guidance integrated fuzing technique and fuze warhead matching efficiency.
