Information Geometric Structures and Instability of Classical Ideal Gas Model
In this paper, from the viewpoint of information geometry the classical ideal gas model was investigated. The α-geometric structures of a classical ideal gas model were explored. In virtue of the geometric structures, the instability of the model was studied from the behavior of the geodesic lengths, volume elements and Jacobi vector fields. Finally, the Lyapunov exponent was obtained.
