The Research on Beijing Cultural Industry Path Based on the Fusion of Culture, Science and Technology

As a breakthrough point, the merging process of culture, science and technology helps researchers classify the study of Beijing’s cultural industries into three major categories or researching routes: Cultural Creative Industry, Cultural Heritage Protection with Advanced Technology and Smart Tourism. Besides the three major researching routes above mentioned, more routes need to be identified. Considering the research of Beijing’s cultural industry as a whole, with cultural and technological industries being increasingly merged, an empirical research paradigm of “contrastive study—on-the-spot-investigation—theory construction—theory verification” can be established. Only in this way can the“authenticity”research achieved with this approach provide the basis for the governmental agencies’more rational and practical solutions, systems and policies in the current critical period of social transformation.
