Commercial Use of Outer Space and China’s Countermeasures

Commercial use of outer space promoted the diversity of subjects of international space activities. It also makes it necessary to develop the legal system for the protection of space intellectual property and commercial service on space launching and the legal status of space sources. The COPUOS and the Institute of the Unification of Private Law and main space-fairing states have been developing and promoting the legislation on commercial use of outer space. Now that China is a space power, it should positively participate in international cooperation to promote international legislation on commercial use of outer space, and develop national legislation on commercial use of outer space to promote the development of commercial use of outer space.
