National Economy Mobilization and Corporate Social Responsibility

The concept and content of CSR (corporate social responsibility) should be evolved and enriched with the development of NEM (national economic mobilization). NEM is a series of activities of mobilizing economic resources to maintain national security, in which enterprises play an important role. This paper introduces the theory of CSR into NEM, which only works in effectiveness when the mobilization can operates on the level of enterprises. As one of stakeholders, government provides the guarantee for safe environment for enterprises, and therefore enterprises should take the social responsibility of NEM in return.
