Research on Student Engagement from International Perspective：Comparing BIT with American Top Research Universities

Based on NSSE-China survey, this study compared Beijing Institute of Technology with its American parallels (research universities with very high research activities),on the five benchmarks. The authors claimed that variances exist on the four benchmarks besides of SCE with significance difference on SFI. But there has been no difference on the benchmarks of ACL and EEE between the first-year students of BIT and their American parallels.
