Research on the Construction of Online Public Opinion Environment

With the internet becoming one of the mainstream media, online public opinion has become increasingly important. However, there are still problems besetting the environment of internet public opinion, according to which this article puts forward suggestions, arguing that: in order to manage and improve online public opinion environment, perfect internet legal system is needed to regulate internet environment and strengthen the internet users’ legal awareness; internet ethical education should be carried out to enhance online ethic; internet servers should be pressed for self-regulation; the government should make sure of the clear availability of information to the public, making use of “opinion leadership” for the direction of public opinion for the improvement of the communication and interaction with the public; internet techniques should be perfected to insure online safety and the establishment of internet regulative system.
