An Empirical Study of the Urbanization Process of Chaoyang District Based on Social Network Analysis—Using Nanmofang Village as an Example

Urbanization is a necessary process for the economic and social development of Chaoyang district. The Relations between farmers enhanced by mutual trust and intimate interaction are extremely important for this process. From the perspective of density， centrality， cohesive subgroup and core-periphery structure， the paper analyzes the relations between villagers using network analysis to identify the existence of factions in the network as well as their core characters. Through the measurement of indicators， the paper tries to use the method of social network analysis to deal with the problems arising from the process of urbanization.
