Research on the Co-evolution of Network Embeddedness and Technology Innovation

A dilemma exists in the relation of network embeddness and technology innovation: the weak ties are beneficial for acquisition of novel knowledge， meanwhile strong ties are beneficial for acquisition of complex and tacit knowledge which are both required by disruptive technology innovation. This article brings up an explanation about this dilemma with the viewpoint of evolution and concludes the co-evolution obstacle of network embeddedness and disruptive technology innovation is caused by the core competency rigidity. To overcome it， the corporate should possess two kinds elements of dynamic capability which are absorptive capability and network capability. Moreover， the relation and effect mechanism of them are explained.
