On the Motivation, Pattern, Undertaker and Reporting Class of Developing New Business in Western Firms

This paper makes an empirical study on new-business-developing activities of 166 large western industrial companies. Based on this, this paper summarizes reasons of developing new business, classifies the different patterns of new business and studies the probability of success and failure of them. And then, the paper analyzes the characteristics of undertakers and reporting classes of developing new business. In the end, authors propose the effective pattern of developing new business successfully.
