Research and Practice of Social Work Practice System——Based on the Example of Beijing Institute of Technology

Constructing a practice system of social work meets the need to cultivate professional social workers, and is a significant part in the establishment of Social Work Specialty in China. Using both domestic and overseas experience for reference, practice system of social work specialty aims at training "innovative, practical, international"social workers by action research which means persistent researching exploration and continuous practice to shape the complete practice system of "value first, practice and innovation, proper sequence and gradual progress, systematic guarantee". The frame of practice system includes five parts, which are unique value system, systemic curriculum setting, consummate supervision system, characteristic practice and effective practical base network.
