The Reform of China's Judicial Committee System

The System of Judicial Committee is the product of China's special historical conditions. It has played a positive role in a certain period of time. However, with the acceleration of the process of the socialist construction of the rule of law and deepening of judicial reform in China, the defects of the judicial committee system have become more noticeable. This paper attempts at an analysis of the system's history, nature and present situation, and finally puts forward corresponding proposals for the reform of the system according to its main defects.
