Establishment of Integrated Intellectual Property Affiliation System—Combination of Science and Technology Progress Law and Intellectual Property Law

There is important amendment about intellectual property affiliation of research projects which are subsidized by nation in Science and Technology Progress Law revised in 2007. The Science and Technology Progress Law and other intellectual property laws together build our complete and systemic intellectual property affiliation system that includes three situations: intellectual property belonging to nation, intellectual property belonging to unit and intellectual property belonging to individual. Such system well defines interests of nation, unit and individual so that it can arouse initiative of research unit and individual on condition that national interest is guaranteed. On maneuverability, the new Science and Technology Progress Law need to be improved in some respects.
