Lurk and Undercurrent On the Reception of Shen Congwen's Writings before the Establishment of People's Republic of China

The reader-response research takes ordinary readers as inspection object. The research on the process of Shen Congwen getting accepted aims at investigating the esthetic effects, reading results, transmutations and derivations, reasons and laws, which were caused by Shen Congwen and his literary works in vast readers before our country founded. The readers' acceptance, reactions and comments towards Shen Congwen and his literary works in different time backgrounds are also investigated in this paper.
