On British Witness System

By reviewing British witness system, this paper comes to a conclusion that British witness system has the characteristic of system and science. However, due to various reasons, Chinese witness system is lack of good foundation both in theory and practice, which results in the loss of evidence rules and disordered judicial practices. Therefore, this paper puts forward some suggestions for the improvement of Chinese witness system.
