An Analysis of the Education Mode of Students' Self-Cultivation in Social Work

Social Work, an occupation of helping other people, affects others personality and touches life through their own behaviors. Therefore, Social workers are usually in contact with their clients closely. As professional helpers, their most profound resources are themselves. Combining teaching practices, this paper explores the importance and value of laying emphasis on students' self-development in professional education and suggests approaches to promoting students' self-development. Especially, it explains the teaching mode of "Self-Explore and Professional Development" in details and points out questions on which are need to pay more attention.
