Improvement in Lawmaking of Villagers' Self-Government System in Constitutional Perspective

Villagers' self-government system is a grass-roots self-government system of Chinese characteristics specified in our Constitution,which distinguishes grass-roots society from self-government of dominion autonomy and local autonomy.Villagers' self-government system is the requirement and outcome of both national and social development and it reflects developmental trend of China's Constitution in the decentralization of authority of nation and society;carries out constitutional logos for the people's sovereignty,embodies socialist democracy character of our country,and it fulfils human rights principle in Constitution and guarantees the realization of basic citizen rights.The villagers' self-government is of attribute of the basic rights in Constitutional,so the constitutional position of the villagers' self-government system and the characters of their basic self-government rights should be defined in Constitution,and a "villagers' self-government law" regarding villager self-government should be worked out.
