A Syntactic and Semantic Analysis of the Adverbs of Time in the Teaching of Chinese as a Second Language

The teaching of Adverbs of Time is a key issue in grammar course when Chinese is being taught as a second language.This paper classifies Adverbs of Time into several important categories: the adverbs of time indicating the early stage or later stage of the actions,the adverbs of time indicating the actions in process,and the adverbs of time indicating the lasting condition of the actions.
