On the Democratic Deficit in European Constitutionalism

Democratic deficit in European constitutionalism has been a subject of much controversy. In this article, the author first discusses some theories about democratic deficit , and points out some concrete forms of democratic deficit. At last, the author lists some responses in European constitution to democratic deficit and some democratic deficits European constitution that remain to be solved.
