Pursuing Harmony in Confucianism Propriety-Norms Society

The Chinese society was mainly built on the Propriety-Norms in Confucianism,so Propriety-Norms act as quasi-law at that time.Propriety-Norms included"the observance of ritual propriety"(LI) and"the playing of music"(YUE).LI acts as regulations(FEN) and YUE acts as harmony(HE).But FEN and HE exist both in LI and YUE,they are the integration of the FEN and HE.In Propriety-Norms of Confucianism,"LI","YUE","FEN","HE"together constituted a harmonious society;but it was a stratified society.
