On the Practice of the Modernization of Sci-tech Periodical

With the development of the society,the old model for running journals can no longer meet the needs for information communication in the modern society.Due to the shortcomings of the old mode for running journals such as the slow speed of information exchange and the great cost of manpower,this paper suggests that modern technologies are necessary in running journals.In combination with the reform on the journal at Beijing Institute of Technology,the paper discusses how to improve the work efficiency at newsrooms by means of modern technologies and the importance of strengthening the qualities of editors and assistant editors so that science and technology periodicals can be modernized.
