Abstract

British empirical aesthetics expounds aesthetic issues from physiological and psychological aspects of the subject. Shelving to inquiring about the objective "essence of beauty", it lays stress on adopting a psychological method of empirical realization and opens up a non-rationalistic trend of thought of aesthetics so that it provides itself a moment for modern transformation.
