The Development of Science of Communication

Science of communication is a interdisciplinary which emerged in1940s to meet the demand of social development and is the production when society reaches a certain mature stage.First in the US,communication came into being and grew rapidly and later was spread to Europe and other places of the world.Currently,the communication research forms two major schools,one is the US-led school of tradition,and the other is the euro-led school of criticism.By the end of1970s,communication was introduced to Chinese mainland.The research in China underwent three stages,viz.introduction,frustration and development.
