On "the Religious Detachment"of Buddhism,Taoism and Confucianism

The question of "detachment" is a grave basic question in both the study of religion and of philosophy. This paper illustrates the way of detachment in Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism on the basis of common definition of "detachment". The detachment or surmount of Buddhists is a kind of surmount to existent experience. There is a borderline for Taoism to be a religion and a philosophy. But Confucianism is the transcendence in philosophy, not in religion.
