The Import of the Western Culture and the Early Chinese Modernism

In the modern time, the aggression of the west countries and the import of western culture started the early Chinese modernism, including the modernism of Chinese people's cultural psychology. Being exposed to the western cultural upsurge, the modern Chinese who lived in the perilous nation had such a complicated psychology as collision and integration, perplexity and acceptation, and separation and re acceptation. This article describes the complicated process, on the basis of which the author presents some ideas of constructing the national psychological modernism.
