The deficiency of the Examination-oriented Education in China

The approaching age of knowledge economy predicates that the international competition will be changed to that of knowledge innovation for which the primary role of education appears very important. The important premise to conduct well the educational reform requires good understanding of what qualities the creative personnel must possess and what causes the main deficiencies of those personnel trained by the mode of exam-oriented education. The article takes a close examination of the major educational deficiencies that excludes great number of children with creative potentiality out of schools.
