The Path and Efficiency of Financial Support for the Development of the Photovoltaic Industry in China —Based on the Analysis of F-SCP Paradigm

With the limitation of traditional energy and increasingly prominent serious environmental problems, China must develop the solar photovoltaic industry which represents new energy. This paper first deduced the F-SCP analysis paradigm, that is the "Finance-Structure-Conduct-Performance" analysis paradigm, as the basic logical framework. Then it analyzed how the main body of financial support promotes the development of photovoltaic industry through the path of market structure and conduct. Finally, it analyzed the efficiency of financial support for the development of photovoltaic industry by means of two-stage empirical analysis. It concluded that:for financial support, the main body is imperfect; the direction is improper; the efficiency is not high; the element structure is unreasonable and that the solar photovoltaic industry is exposed to market risks. The development of the solar photovoltaic industry requires the structure optimization and mode innovation of financial support and enhancement of industrial competitiveness itself.
