Abstract: In order to analyze the equality of China residents' electric power consumption,this paper calculated the Gini Coefficient of China residents' electric power consumption from 2001 to 2012. The results indicated that the electric power consumption of national,urban and rural,and regional residents had reached a very fair level. Meanwhile,the Gini Coefficient of national,urban and rural,and regional residents decreased gradually. Because there are some differences between the economic development level and population size in each region of China,the relevant departments should formulate electric power related policies combined with the actual situation of regional development.
