Abstract: As an important part of WANG Yangming's thought,Sends the Conscience doctrine is not only the tenet of giving lectures in his life and the guiding principle of his students in study and practice. Since the 20th century,the research on the teaching of Sends the Conscience doctrine has formed two different interpretation paths:philosophical interpretation and spiritual belief. In view of the two kinds of research of Yangming's Sends the Conscience doctrine since the 20th century,they are not to avoid a more essential problem,that is,to be an ethical and real person. The moral education of being an ethical and real person is not only the inner spirit of Confucianism but also the essential meaning of Yangming's Sends the Consciences doctrine,and its significance is to show one's conscience that can distinguish right from wrong in the process of transforming individual life emotion and mental will. On the basis of being an ethical and real person, the path of philosophical interpretation contains the value pursuit of spiritual belief,while the path of spiritual belief shows the universality of philosophical interpretation. It is not only a matter of how to understand the true spirit of Yangming's philosophy,but also the important question of how to interpret the traditional value of Confucianism.
